The idea to create privatepropertyportugal.com was born after numerous conversations with property owners in both the Algarve and in the regions of Central Portugal who wanted to sell. Many seemed to feel that commercial real estate agencies lacked professionalism, they were dissatisfied with the response rate and, most of all, they felt that the standard commission rate of 5% + IVA is just too high. Private owners were therefore looking for alternative ways to directly market their property.
As a company our staff have more than 25 years of practical experience of the real estate industry in Portugal.
